The concept "Shadow work" is based on a theory by Carl Jung that the shadow is a moral problem that challenges the whole ego-personality, for no one can become conscious of the shadow without considerable moral effort. To become conscious of it involves recognizing the dark aspects of the personality as present and real. This act is the essential condition for any kind of self-knowledge.”

The music written was a challenge. It is the first time I've written a chill type music, laid back vibe, that takes you on an emotional journey with the help of my spoken word friends and Pupa who is an emotionally charged guitar player. So honored to have him and all of the guests performing in this show.

Last, This project would not have been possible without Staten Island Arts. They are a wonderful group of people who work hard to make sure artists, like myself, have a chance to grow and develop our crafts and get paid through there wonderful grant programs.

This project is funded in part by a DCA Art Fund Grant from Staten Island Arts with public funding from NYC Department of Cultural Affairs
